Man: That hurts!
Woman: Just drink more freaking hot water!
"Drink hot water" is ranked as the "most-hatred boyfriend replies" in the minds of their Chinese girlfriends. Some are slow-witted, uncommunicative boyfriends who apparently don't quite know how to speak about love.
Men are feeling so confused because they think physical pain/illness is a personal matter and there's really nothing much they can do unless they are doctors!
But women think it only shows that these guys don't care enough. The girlfriend is already feeling unwell, and the boyfriend has not even bothered to tell her how much he cares about or loves her, except by texting back the brainless response,"drink more hot water"?!
Men: You're right, I'm wrong, OK?
Men: Don't complain to me about your friends/work, that was your own fault, don't blame others.
Rather than listening to her feelings and trying to be understanding of where she is coming from, he jumps to conclusions and starts acting defensive.
Guys are known to not be the greatest communicators in relationships and this is why. Their skills don't balance when it comes to talking about their problems.

Forgetting about important information, dates, etc can be such a pain for women. It comes off as if he doesn't care and that's the last thing a woman wants to feel like; that she's not important to him.
