再选一次专业,你会怎么选?| If you got a do-over, which major would you pick?
A post called "re-choose your college major" recently gained a great deal of online popularity.
One medical graduate with the screen name Zhuyilongdeqitiandi said in a post, "Those who persuade other people to study medicine could be struck by lightning and split into two halves."
Another medical student said majoring in medicine leads to hair loss and bad skin that make women look 10 years older.
However, when the medical graduate was asked which college major she would choose if she got a do-over, she was satisfied with her original choice.
"Needless to say, I will choose medicine again and I am proud of being a doctor and saving lives."
Many netizens left comments about computer science, data science and artificial intelligence, as these graduates are more likely to find high-paying jobs in a fast-growing industry.
Some non-art-major students said arts could be the best choice, while art majors completely disagreed and replied majoring in arts means staying up late and always being in front of the computer — a habit that can result in a slipped disk.
One netizen said Beijing Film Academy and Shanghai Theater Academy are her dream schools, and joked she hopes to have a stunning face in her next life.
A social work major shared his story online. "To be honest, I was assigned to a social work major in my first undergraduate year. Before that, I never heard of social work and had no idea what it was. Three years passed, and gradually I realized the importance of social work. I am planning to pursue my education in social work."
But not every social work major enjoys their studies. Most social work graduates find jobs in other fields.
It would be a pity if someone missed out on their ideal major. But if they don't give it up, they may be able to change their future study and go further in their chosen field.
