On Tuesday, the Republic of Korea's embassy to China shared on its official micro blog account photos of a poster hanging on its outer wall.

"China's difficulties are our difficulties, too," it said, "Come on, China!"

It is one of the many embassies in China showing goodwill and warmth to the country in its fight against the novel coronavirus, through the medium of the micro blog.

On Monday, the Canadian embassy to China posted a handwritten letter from its ambassador Dominic Barton, who wrote "Come on, Wuhan!" in Chinese and "You are not alone!" in English.

It also specifically stressed that Barton had recently returned to China, and he hoped to express Canada's support for the Chinese people at this difficult time.

It also listed the required materials that Canada has provided to China, including breathing masks, goggles, protective clothing and gloves for medical use, which weigh 16 metric tons in all.

The Japanese embassy to China issued several micro blogs under the hashtag #lands apart, sky shared#, which is derived from an ancient Chinese-language poem and became a hot topic after being written on boxes of protective materials donated by Japan to China.

It also forwarded the news of a Japanese girl wearing qipao trying to collect donations for Wuhan.

At the top of its micro blog account is a handwritten letter from Japanese ambassador Yokoi Yutaka, who said "Come on, Wuhan" and "Come on, China".

The Russian embassy in China kept its message simple. On Tuesday, it said that a plane had carried more than 23 tons of humanitarian relief materials from Russia to China.

The embassy did not mention it, but a CCTV report quoted Russian sources as saying that the plane was fully loaded and the materials were about 190 cubic meters in size.

The French and German ambassadors made video messages.

The Spanish embassy official micro blog account prominently displayed photos showing Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez had met Chinese representatives there. It had a key sentence:

"Disease is not dreadful; The ugly face of exclusivism is."

Unlike the above-mentioned ones, the official micro blog account of the United States had a different tone.

From Feb 3 to Feb 11, it has repeatedly talked about evacuating US citizens from Wuhan.

And about refusing those who have traveled to China entry into US territory.

On Feb 8, it talked about assisting to ship 17.8 tons of medical and humanitarian materials to China.

Yet the hottest comments doubted its self-appointed title of being "the most generous donor of the world". The comments pointed out that, as the embassy itself admitted, it had "assisted to ship" instead of having "donated" the materials.
