2019 CiteScore正式公布,速看20分以上期刊
本月下旬,应该就要公布最新的JCR影响因子了,除了这个俗称的SCI影响因子外,Elsevier基于Scopus数据库,也每年发布一个影响因子指标,正式名称为CiteScore,但每年发布均极为低调,小编刚刚发现:Elsevier又悄悄地发布了最新的CiteScore。
1. 计算方式不同:CiteScore的指标算法比IF需要更广的年限,即连续三年的发表文献数量在第四年的引用次数。而IF是连续两年的发表文章数量在第三年的引用次数。具体计算方式如下:
2. 指数计算文章类型不同:CiteScore计算时,因子包括所有文章类型,而影响因子引用包括所有论文(原著+综述),分母不计算通信、评论、新闻等小论文。
3. 来源数据库不同:JCR影响因子基于Web of Science数据库,CiteScore基于Scopus数据库,两者收录的期刊范围差别也非常大。
所有这些,都导致了两个指标的差异。
先看看这个公布数据中,CiteScore值在20分以上的期刊,后面我们会给出CiteScore的计算方法等,以及一些期刊的分值点评,比较一下CiteScore与JCR影响因子的差异。
注:以下数据全部来自于Scopus数据库,系人工整理,如有出错,尽请指出,也请谅解,注意以下排名,是在该数据库的Source Type中,选择了Journals排出来的,但有几个期刊小编没见到过。

几点点评
一、Ca-A Cancer Journal for Clinicians,最近各路神仙都预测其最新JCR影响因子将超过300,但CiteScore 今年计算方法一变后,达到了惊人的435,当然是因为计算了多年引用量的关系。理论上,现在很难拿JCR影响因子与CiteScore再来对比了。
二、我们平时言必提Nature, Science, Cell 三个顶尖刊物,在CiteScore这个排名中,悄悄地躲在了后面,可见两个评价指标的差异之大。
三、今年CiteScore的新的计算方式
据小编从一些编辑同行了解到的计算方法是:
2016-2019年的发表的文献(特定类型)数作为分母,2016-2019年的发表的这些文献自发表来的所有引用(不限于当年)作为分子。
注:具体详细的计算规则以官方的说明更新为准
而JCR影响因子对应的则是,分母取前两年发表的特定类型文章数,分子取前两年发表的所有文献数在第三年的被引次数。
然后,JCR影响因子基于WOS数据库,CiteScore基于Scopus数据库,两者收录的期刊范围差别也非常大。
所有这些,都导致了两个指标的差异。
不过,今年的JCR影响因了也推迟了,鉴于这两年科技评价方式导向等的变化,JCR影响因子会不会也来个大改版呢??
