2018 第一次招生说明会

2018年2月3日，是众多周末中的一个普通周末，但却是珠海德威国际高中值得书写一个周末：2018-2019学年第一次招生说明会拉开序幕！

纯粹的国际学校是什么范儿？

看看我们的学生志愿者：社区志愿者服务既是国际学校的一门必修课，也是我们学生服务学校、接触社会的起点，在老师的指导下，他们一举一动都显得自信、专业，传递了德威学子由内而外的自信。

说明会部分

正式在戏剧教室开始的说明会，也是我们的新任校长Andrew  McDonald-Brown与我们未来家长的正式面对面，他用简练而专业的语言，回答了家长们的关注：德威是一所什么样的国际学校，为什么要选择德威，和在德威如何成就最好的自己？ 

过去的8年，证明了德威这种教育教学模式是适合大多数中国学生的学业学术成长需要的，接下来我们还将打造世界范围内最好的国际学校，满足越来越多国际学生对优质教育的渴求。德威在职的外籍教师在德威倡导的one college， many  campuses（一校多区）的模式下，分享了他们在对珠海德威国际高中学生的教学感受、建议和期许，为未来的德威学子的学业规划群策群力。

德威在读学生的分享，把德威的点点滴滴和未来的德威学子建立了紧密的链接，让家长更加期待自己的孩子成为德威的一份子。说明会的最后阶段，韩校长Carol Han用更中国、更世界的德威价值观诠释为本次说明会书写了大大的一个句号。

校园参观

家长们除了围着学校相关工作人员，迫切了解孩子怎样才能达到德威的入学要求，就是急切去到我们设置的各个学科展示台和教室与我们的学科志愿老师和学生了解如何在德威做一个合格，甚至优秀的学生。

Saturday 3 February was an exciting and eventful day in Dulwich International High School Zhuhai. More than 125 families attended our admissions presentation and toured the school. Four student volunteers gave their presentation about how they had benefited from the education provided in DHZH. They were confident, calm and logical, which really impressed the audiences.

Our Director Mr Macdonald-Brown gave a welcome speech for prospective parents and students in the multipurpose Room, followed by Mr Oakley (Deputy Director’s) introduction of the curriculum at DHZH.  They both highlighted how we provide a holistic education, blending academic excellence with a rich and diverse co-curricular program and pastoral care. Ms Han (Deputy Director) shared her comprehensive insight into the philosophy of localizing international education and the strategic focus on well-rounded development of the children.

The teacher-parent Q&A section was always one of the highlights. Parents had the opportunity to hear from teaching faculty on topics including how would international school help local children to adapt well to ‘foreign curriculum’. At midday visiting parents were given the chance to visit subject display areas and explore the school.

Thanks to all student volunteers and subject teachers involved.

The winter of 2018 has seemed longer and colder than the past but the passion of our future students heated up our campus with their excitement. DHZH will welcome about 100 new students in 2018 and the prospective students were all of a very high calibre. We look forward to welcoming these bright young minds to Dulwich International High School Zhuhai in 2018.   

2018年的寒潮有点长，也更冷，

但是德威未来学子的热情

温暖了所有的清冷。
