Siemens sets up Belt and Road Office in Beijing

西门子日前宣布设立全球“一带一路”办公室，办公地点设在北京。此举旨在进一步继续加强公司与全球伙伴的全面紧密合作，携手拓展中国“一带一路”倡议带来的商业机遇。

Siemens has announced the set-up of a dedicated Belt and Road office in Beijing. It will further intensify company-wide efforts to continue teaming up with global partners and jointly exploring business opportunities emerging from the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) introduced by China.

作为公司全球工作机制的一部分，该办公室将负责执行公司围绕“一带一路”倡议制定的业务战略、整合内外部资源，从而全力支持“一带一路”建设，同时与有关各方加强交流、创造合作机遇，实现多方共赢。

As part of the company’s global task force, the office will become Siemens’ global hub responsible for executing the company’s BRI business strategy, integrating internal and external resources to best support the initiative, strengthening interactions with multiple stakeholders, and creating collaboration opportunities that lead to multiple benefits.

西门子表示，高度认同“一带一路”倡议的理念——通过超越国界的解决方案将各国人民和经济联接起来，助力全球多地区共同实现社会繁荣。

Siemens says, they strongly relates to the concept behind BRI - connecting people and economies with transnational solutions, and helping societies prosper in multiple regions of the world.

截至2017年，西门子已与上百家中国领先的EPC企业携手，在全球100多个国家和地区开拓市场。

By 2017, Siemens had joined forces with over 100 leading Chinese EPCs in exploring business opportunities in more than 100 markets worldwide.

西门子股份公司管理委员会成员奈柯表示，西门子在“一带一路”沿线国家和地区拥有完善的业务布局，深谙各地区的市场特点，能够为推进全球合作、共同创造价值以实现各方利益发挥不可或缺的作用。

"we can play an indispensable role of driving forward global collaboration, and co-creating values for the benefits of China as well as the countries along the Belt and Road where Siemens has an unrivaled presence and knowledge of local markets," said Cedrik Neike, Member of the Managing Board, Siemens AG.

据悉，西门子将于今年6月举办“一带一路”国际合作论坛。该论坛将汇集“一带一路”沿线国家和地区的有关各方，促进意见交流，探讨如何借助创新和数字化技术共创价值，并通过不断增强合作，助力“一带一路”相关国家和地区构建可持续的未来。

Siemens will host a Belt & Road International Summit in June this year.The Summit will connect stakeholders of BRI countries and regions to foster thought leadership exchange, jointly create values with innovative and digital technologies, and boost collaboration for a sustainable future along the Belt and Road and beyond.

年利达协助中国南方电网完成并购交易

中国南方电网近日以13亿美元收购Brookfield Infrastructure所持有的Transelec公司 27.8％的股份，Transelec是智利最大的输电公司，拥有超过10,000公里的电力线，为智利约98％的人口提供服务。

China Southern Power Grid (CSG) has acquired Brookfield Infrastructure's 27.8% stake in Transelec with US$1.3bn. Transelec is the largest pure-play power transmission company in Chile with over 10,000 kilometres of electricity lines serving approximately 98% of the Chilean population.

此次交易反映了中国对拉美境外投资的增长趋势。

This transaction reflects a growing trend of increasing China outbound investment into Latin America.

Abu Dhabi tourism delegation launches China Roadshow

阿布扎比文化与旅游部率领的当地旅游业代表团走访中国三大城市，旨在提升阿布扎比酋长国作为度假胜地在中国游客中的吸引力。

A tourism delegation led by the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi is visiting three major cities in China to help raise awareness about the emirate as a holiday destination for Chinese travellers.

阿提哈德航空公司、当地酒店、旅行社和景点等组成强大代表团阵容，访问了北京、南京，3月23日到达最后一站广州结束本次年度路演。

The delegation, which includes Etihad Airways, hotels, tour operators and attractions, will visit capital city Beijing, followed by Nanjing and finally Guangzhou on the 23rd, for the annual roadshow.

中国目前是阿布扎比酒店业的主要海外客源市场，2017年阿布扎比接待中国游客达37.4万人次，较上一年增长60%。阿布扎比文化与旅游部希望在2021年实现年度接待中国游客60万人的目标。

China is now the leading overseas source market for Abu Dhabi hotel guests, recording 60% increase in 2017 from the previous year to number 374,000. The Department is targeting 600,000 Chinese hotel guests a year by 2021.

DCT Abu Dhabi has been spearheading a number of delegations visiting the Chinese market on roadshows and promotional exhibitions. These initiatives have been effective in terms of meeting with stakeholders and exchanging knowledge, generating deals for the emirate’s airlines, hotels, and destination management companies and raising the emirate’s profile as a destination of distinction amongst Chinese travellers.

恒天然宣布全球首席执行官继任计划

Fonterra announces progress on CEO succession plan

恒天然集团日前宣告，作为计划中的首席执行官继任计划的一部分，董事会已与现任首席执行官施牧徳达成一致，施牧徳将于今年晚些时候离开现职。

Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited (Fonterra) recently announced that, as part of a planned CEO succession process, the Fonterra Board and its CEO Theo Spierings have agreed that Spierings will leave his role later this year.

恒天然集团董事长约翰威尔逊表示，董事会决定于四月公布最终人选。

Fonterra Chairman John Wilson says the Board was taking the decision to bring forward the announcement, which the Board was expecting to make in April.

恒天然集团表示，虽然不确定具体任命时间，但施牧徳将在此期间继续领导集团的各项业务，确保战略的执行，并会特别侧重中国业务。

"It is not yet clear exactly when any appointment for Theo’s replacement will be made, but it is absolutely clear that Theo will continue in the meantime to drive the Co-operative’s strategy and business, with special emphasis on China," Wilson said.
