A dead juvenile whale that washed up in the Philippines was discovered by workers at D’Bone Collector Museum in Davao City on Saturday. The whale had 40 kilograms of plastic bags inside its stomach, researchers said. “The whale had the most plastic we have ever seen in a whale,” the museum said in a post. Ten million plastic bags were consumed worldwide per minute, which is enough to wrap around the earth seven times every hour, UN Environment stated in a report last year.
