2018年，是世界顶级钢琴制造商施坦威钢琴成立165周年。正值施坦威成立165周年之际，施坦威宣布：全球最重要战略市场之一的亚太区总部大楼在中国上海落成。
Shanghai, China - March 31, 2018, The year 2018 marks the 165th anniversary of Steinway & Sons, the world's top piano manufacturer. At the 165th anniversary of Steinway's founding, Steinway announced that the Asia Pacific headquarters building was completed in Shanghai, China, one of the most important strategic markets in the world.
Mr. Lang Lang played Chopin’s “Minute Waltz” on Steinway SPIRIO. The superior performance, a combination of Mr. Lang Lang’s exquisite piano arts and Steinway SPIRIO’s precision was a masterpiece of art and science, music and technology. It offered such a smooth and wonderful prelude for Steinway’s 165th Anniversary Celebration in Asia Pacific.

施坦威晚宴于当日在上海宝丽嘉酒店举行。宝丽嘉酒店中庭空间四层挑空，设置270度LED巨幕，为往来宾客带来过目不忘的视觉体验。

Steinway Asia Pacific headquarters, located at the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone, is considered as Steinway's third largest global operating center after New York and Hamburg. Last June, 2017, Beijing welcomed the grand opening of “Steinway Hall Beijing”, which provides professional communication and interaction opportunities for music lovers and piano artists in town.
