It doesn’t matter if you life in a big house or a small apartment. Normally every accommodation hast typical rooms like a kitchen, a bedroom or a bathroom.
Also, some parts of a house are the same in every accommodation. Everyone has a door, a floor and a window.
Do you know how to say these words in Chinese? Well, here is a list for you.

Room: 房间 (fáng jiān)
Living room: 客厅 (kè tīng)
Bedroom: 卧室 (wò shì)
Dining room: 餐厅 (cān tīng)
Kitchen: 厨房 (chú fáng)
Bathroom: 洗手间 (xĭ shŏu jiān)
Hallway: 大厅 (dà tīng)
Laundry room: 洗衣房 (xǐ yī fáng)
Attic: 阁楼 (gé lóu)
Basement: 地下室 (dì xià shì)
Balcony: 阳台 (yáng tái)
