去年斋月哈伊马角酋长国共关押72名乞丐

哈伊马角酋长国警方正在准备发起一场控制斋月圣月期间乞丐的运动。

作为运动的一部分，警方将派遣更多的安全巡逻员监管居民区、市场和比如像清真寺一类的祈祷场所。即便在深夜，安全巡逻队也依旧执勤。

这项运动是由哈伊马角酋长国警察局长Ali Abdullah Alwan Al Naimi少将指导进行的，旨在贯彻实施内阁部针对加强阿联酋安全保障的战略对策。

警察勤务署长Abdullah Khamis Al Hadidi准将解释道：这个运动每年在斋月都会发起，我们将与不同的部门合作共同开展这项运动。

去年，共72名乞丐被警方关押。

RAK Police to launch campaign; hike security patrols

Ras Al Khaimah Police is preparing to launch a campaign to curb begging during the holy month of Ramadan.

As part of the campaign, there will be more security patrols deployed in residential neighbourhoods, markets and places of worship such as mosques. Security patrols will be on duty even during late night hours.

The campaign comes under the guidance of Major-General Ali Abdullah Alwan Al Naimi, Police Chief of Ras Al Khaimah, in order to implement the strategy of Ministry of Interior towards enhancing security and safety in the emirate.

Brigadier Abdullah Khamis Al Hadidi, Director-General of Police Operations, explained that the campaign is launched annually during Ramadan and will be implemented in co-operation with different departments.

Last year, 72 people were caught begging.

Public can call police on 0507669229 to report about any beggar or call 999.
