Ultimate Summer Cookout: Burgers, Booze, Bands, and More
On May 28 (Saturday), from 11am-8pm, the Beijinger’s Burger Festival will transform the open grounds of Oasis Hospital into a foodie-paradise, and perhaps the city’s largest cookout ever. With mountains of meat, over-flowing barrels of booze, and a line-up of superb acts and performances, spending your weekend any other way would be an absolute shame.
1. The Burgers:
Herbivores beware: This year’s Burger Fest will be the biggest yet, meaning the appetizing scent of grilled meat will surely draw in Beijing’s hungriest carnivores.

2. The Booze:
Relax, unwind and imbibe…
Enjoy pints of Beijing’s best...
...beers...
...and wines!
3. The Bands (and other performances):
The people demand entertainment… and the Beijinger will provide just that. Expect a fantastic line-up of some of Beijing’s best bands including: Stevie Mac & The Mac Daddies; The Guzzlers; and Stardust.
The Beijinger’s self-imposed party police will be present…
… so don’t let them catch you without your dance on.
We’ll also have other fantastic stage performances: expect popular acts from the participants of the recently-concluded Laowai Idol hosted by the International Student Union of Beijing.
Plus, a special burlesque dance number by the ever famous Moonglow Burlesque group and some salsa stage performances will get your groove on.
4. Kid-Friendly Activities
Our children’s area will gleefully keep the kids occupied with henna paintings, face paintings, balloon making, cornhole challenge, huge bubbles experience, and some close-up magic! And yes, kids at heart are welcome at these activities, too

5. The After-Party at Spark
The cookout may end at 8PM, but that doesn’t mean the party has to stop. The Beijinger, along with our friends at InternsinBeijing, will provide FREE entry and booze at Spark Nightclub. That perfect guy or gal you met at the cookout might just be there as well.

Fret not. Starting next Monday (May 16), the Burger Days will start and the top burger places in town will open up with tons of promotions for you to get your burger fix at great prices.
Burger Cup Voting
After the Burger Festival on May 28, the Burger Cup voting starts on May 30 and the top 64 burger joints knock each other off til June 13 as we crown this year's Burger Cup Champion!
