Getting to Saturday’s Burger Festival (incl. Free Shuttle Bus!)

Awesome … that’s the one word that best describes Saturday's weather forecast. And what better way to make use of this pristine weather than to take part in perhaps the greatest summer cookout the capital has ever seen. Enjoy mouthwatering, juicy burgers with live music, plenty of ice-cold beer, as well as fun activities, like beer pong, and actual grass to plant your rump on as you bask in the sunshine.

This year’s Burger Festival will be held in the same venue as last year’s, the Universal Creative Park, just opposite the north gate of 798.

If you're heading over via subway, take Line 14 to Wangjing Nan (望京南), exit at exit A, and then take a relaxing stroll along the airport expressway as masterfully indicated on the map below.

If you're taking a taxi, head straight to 9 Jiuxianqiao Beilu, Chaoyang District (朝阳区酒仙桥北路9号).

This year, the Beijinger has even organized a free shuttle service to ferry burger lovers to the venue. The three pick-up and drop-off points are: BLCU (south gate), Gongti (north gate), and the Agricultural Exhibition Center. (Please note that the buses have limited seating capacity, so arrive a little before the departure time so as to secure a spot.)

The Festival will run from 11am to 8pm, with an entry fee of RMB 20 (this negligible price is mainly for crowd control purposes).
