Fix Your Pizza Addiction with Parma and Truffles at Tiago

Ahead of this year's Pizza Cup and Festival, we are serving up bite-sized details about this year's participants in a series we call Pizza Mania. This time we introduce Tiago.

Opening in late 2014, Tiago is apparently flourishing, having now expanded to two locations as well as opening a sister venue, Casa Talia, in Dongzhimen's Raffle City. It's easy to see why the brand has been a hit, with its homestyle cooking, fresh seafood, moreish desserts, and creative drinks.

The creativity also branches into their pizzas, recently releasing a new premium rustica-parma mushroom truffle sauce and honey pizza (RMB 128, pictured above), an upgraded version of their popular parma and truffle sauce pizza. Other bestselling pizzas include their Peking duck and spring onion pizza and the sugar-over-savory lover's marshmallow pizza, ranging between RMB 79-128.

“We use the best Farina 00 flour, and ferment the dough for 18 hours,” owner Katie Li told us last time we dropped by, which gives Tiago's bases a delicious texture perfect for holding the pre-grilled mushrooms, parma ham, fresh mozzarella, and truffles.

If you're pizzered-out, they also offer the impeccable Boston lobster seafood spaghetti, Angus tomahawk steak, and a creamy Segafredo tiramisu.

That being said, you'd be stupid to miss Tiago's buy-one-get-one-free deal on all pizzas under RMB 100 on Wednesdays, at both of their locations, and the perfect way to settle on a favorite ahead of their appearance at our Pizza Cup in a week's time.
