Whether you’re a coffeeholic, a connoisseur of the coffee bean, or simply curious about coffee culture, find your perfect caffeine fix at the Beijing Coffee Festival, taking place at China National Convention Center (located near the Olympic Park) Hall E1-E4 from June 26-28, as part of ExpoFineFood Beijing 2017.

The interactive event will take visitors on a gustatory journey through different coffees and coffee products from around the world, as well as a host of national-level competitions and special events.

While you are meandering the stalls, sipping coffee and sampling fine foods, be sure to stop off and check out a few of the competitions taking place during the coffee festival. With its intricate preparation and multifarious serving methods, coffee has always attracted people who want to challenge their creativity and skill. Competitions include:

China Barista Championship 2017, Beijing Division

The Coffee Festival also provides a stage for professional baristas to demonstrate their exceptional brewing skills in an intensely competitive environment. Expect surprise gifts for audience members!

China Latte Art Championship 2017, Beijing Division

Another professional competition, the Latte Art Championship challenges baristas to combine steamed milk and espressos into incredibly intricate creations. Be sure to have your cameras ready!

Nestle Latte Art Competition
A non-professional latte art competition designed to encourage wannabe baristas to push their creativity to the limit.

China Master Bartender Competition 2017, Beijing Division
Coffee and alcohol are perfect (not to mention tasty) partners, which is why the Beijing round of the China Master Bartender Competition is being held during the Coffee Festival. Be sure to stop by to watch the bartenders shake up creative concoctions.

China Brewers Cup 2017, Beijing Division
Dozens of factors affect the final taste of a cup of coffee but the most important factor is the beans, which are roasted differently according to their origin and characteristics.

If that all sounds like your cup of, well, coffee, then tickets can be yours for the incredible price of just RMB 1. Your e-ticket will be exchanged on site for an entrance badge and a RMB 50 voucher. Tickets can be purchased in English on this site: tryclearcut.com/event/RH5yYFmn.
