2017 Pizza Cup Reaches its Final Four!

Whew, that was intense! The Elite Eight of the Beijinger's 2017 Pizza Cup had plenty of surprises, including last year's runner-up, Annie's, being set aside by juggernaut Tube Station, and multi-year champion Gung Ho surprisingly meeting its demise at the hands of this year's little-pizzeria-that-could, Pie Squared in Shunyi.

Here's how it all shook out:

• Eatalia sent Kro's Nest flying
  

• Bottega laid out La Pizza
  

• Pie Squared right angled Gung Ho
  

• Tube Station tunneled out Annie's
  

Now, drumroll please: this sets up some dramatic flair as we have our 2017 Final Four matches:

The first is a throwdown between American and Italian-style pie makers, as Tube Station goes toe-to-toe vs. Bottega. Meanwhile, dark horses Pie Squared and Eatalia vie to race each other for the right to enter the final match.
