Win Tickets to Our Hot & Spicy Festival, Apr 14-15!
The time is rapidly approaching when we all stand to discover what the true meaning of spicy really means. Many of us will reach for a beer, some of us will cry, and the vast majority look to enter the deep feeling of euphoria that only chili can provide. Yes, come Apr 14-15, the Beijing masses will swoop down on Galaxy Soho for our inaugural Hot & Spicy Festival on the hunt for simple spice satisfaction, provided by special chili-infused wares created by 40 of the city's food vendors.
Though tickets are a mind-meltingly cheap RMB 20, we've got some to give away to our lucky readers. All you have to do share this article in your WeChat moments and tag four (4) of your friends with the text, "It's getting hot & spicy in here!" Send us a screenshot and you and your friends could get to win tickets to the festival.
Remember to send your entry along with your name, phone number, and address by midnight on Wednesday. We'll inform the lucky winners the following day. Winners will also automatically get one of our Hot & Spicy-branded bandanas.
Of course, for those unlucky in their attempt to win tickets, everyone who buys presale tickets will also receive a limited edition accessory (read more about those here). As for what you can expect once you get to the festival, there'll be some spicy fancy dress (get some inspiration here), our annual Hot Chili Pepper Eating Competition (sign up here), and of course, some of the best chili-doused food this side of Sichuan (lots about that here).
