Brief Introduction of Neuroscience and Its Connection with Coaching
Your high school science teacher and your basketball coach may have had way more in common than you might have realized. This seminar zeroes in on how coaching cannot only push you to be a great athlete but also exercise the meat between your ears. It will also detail how "coaching helps create positive new neural pathways, which leads to lasting, sustainable change." On the flipside, it will also reveal how neuroscience can augment coaching in order to make brains more "open to learning, visioning, sophisticated thinking, emotional intelligence, empathy, creativity, and growth."

Podcasting in the Jing
On Thusday, the podcasters behind Beijing-based productions Big Fish in the Middle Kingdom, China Tech Talk, Wo Men, and Environment China will gather for a panel discussion about ‘Podcasting in the Jing.’ Expect to learn about the ins and outs of podcasting and tips on how to get your own show off the ground.

Workshop | Cut + Paste: Contemporary Collage
As well as exhibiting
Bazaar Bizarre, collagist Mary A. Johnson's site-specific installation, they're also holding this workshop headed by the artist herself in which you can learn how exactly Johnson crafts her works. During this three-hour workshop, participants will work on their own personal collage piece using organic and digital images, as well as natural dyes, synthetic pigments, and other assorted materials. China's Financial Innovation Through History With Professor William N. Getzomann
Money Changes Everything author and Yale professor William N. Getzomann will give a talk about China's financial leaps and bounds through the ages. His 2016 book was listed as one of Bloomberg's Best Books of the year, along with snagging a spot on the Financial Times' Best Economics Books of 2016. RMB 80, RMB 20 (students with ID). 1.30pm-4pm.
