Winnie: Documentary Screening and Discussion
On Wednesday, The Bookworm hosts a film screening of the Pascal Lamche-directed
Winnie, following the South African anti-apartheid politician and activist Winnie Madikizela-Mandela aka "Mother of the Nation". A controversial figure considering her clout in the fight against apartheid, "her life and story is that of many other South African women who steadfastly fought against injustices of the apartheid regime, women who remained unshaken in the face of adversity, determined to contribute toward a democratic South Africa." Surviving as a First-Time Manager

Ancient Mammals at the Beijing Museum of Natural History
This new exhibition at the Beijing Museum of History Museum features 50 complete mammal skeletons from the Mesozoic era in China, some never seen before, for an overall collection that "prompts a rethink of mammal evolution," according to

Sunset Rooftop Fest with Heyrobics and Sazon
