in the name of a good cause. Now in its sixth run, the month-long event
kicks off at XL Bar, and there'll be plenty of food and drinks to go
around (20 percent of all revenue will go into the Maovember pot), as
well as mustachioed pins on offer so you can show your support.

off." A journalist for the Wall Street Journal for over a decade,
McMahon will also be quizzed by Trivium's Andrew Polk about the main
challenges facing the government.

Try to dip rather
than sip at this relaxing Saturday session of lotus leaf painting.
Budding artists will learn how to best choose which leaves to use on
their canvas before painting them for an effect that makes the colors
come alive "as they are pulled within the very veins of the leaves,
giving a depth and richness that only a master could achieve." Beverages
are provided by the organizer and the class is completely free unless
you want to take your creation home (RMB 350 and up).

running musical in Broadway history, Chicago now comes to Beijing in
all its American prohibition-era, jazz, and swinging glory. Debuted in
1975, the musical tells the story of nightclub singer Roxie Hart who,
after shooting her lover, fights to stay off of death row, taking a
satirical look at greed and corruption in the US' criminal justice at
the time and the concept of the "celebrity criminal".
