As has come to be expected from the Gongti-adjacent restaurant and bar, Legend Beer served a well-rounded range of tempting pub grub at this year's Burger Fest. Their offerings included their classic beef burger, a deep-sea fish burger, Korean fried chicken, french fries, and fried potato wedges.

Those reliable eats, not to mention their decent selection of in-house-brewed beer, have helped Legend make swift gains in the capital's food and beverage scene since opening in 2016. Their popularity was immediately evident among the pre-club dining riff-raff, going on to open a second location the next year before following up with a more distinctive “old-style craft tavern” near Dongzhimen in 2018 as well as a fourth venue by Wangjing Soho.

In an effort to live up to their name at this year's Burger Fest, Legend pulled out plenty of stops to satisfy the burger-craving masses. The classic beef burger they slung at the event is made with quality imported Australian beef, a lip-smackingly good secret sauce, and – a small but important addition – an American buttered bun. Their battered fish burger, meanwhile, was a welcome alternative for patrons who hankered something a little lighter. Of course, they also had a couple of beers on tap that helped guests wash it all down and kept them cool throughout the big weekend.

To further whet your appetite, here are a few eye-catching snaps of the surf and turf wares that Legend brought:
