Didi Release Report on Trips Taken Over May Holiday; 20% Off

If you've taken a Didi since the end of the May Day holiday, you will be fully aware of the influx of customers now bidding for rides. Much like how Beijing's roads welcomed back its usual clogged streets earlier this week, the need to call and wait for a driver in advance of your morning commute has returned. While the convenience may have diminished, there's something reassuring about the city's streets coming back to life – after all, it wouldn't be Beijing without serious traffic.
It seems like the capital wasn't the only Chinese city to see its streets revive, as detailed in an infographic released this week by Didi providing insight into various nationwide travel over Labor Day break. In it, among other things, we learn that 80 percent of Didi users did not leave their designated city, while the city to witness the highest amount of travel was Xinjiang's capital Urumqi – a 571 percent increase compared to a regular week.
