Kakikopi launches Kopitiam-inspired brunch
Kakikopi has launched a new brunch set inspired by the breakfast served at kopitiams across Southeast Asia. Priced at RMB 138 for two (originally RMB 268), the brunch includes kopitiam favorites like kaya butter toast with soft-boiled eggs, roti canai with curry gravy, and grilled glutinous rice rolls wrapped in banana leaves. Durian fans can sample kopi (coffee) or teh tarik (milk tea, literally "pulled tea") infused with Musang King Durian.
Rive Gauche launches new menu
Rive Gauche at the Puxuan has launched a brand new menu by head chef Ivan Miguez that embraces nostalgic, authentic, and classic French Bistro traditions and innovative, sophisticated culinary Parisian Bistronomy to Beijing. The dishes are traditional and comforting, with Miguez's signature modern twist. For example, magret de canard is served with crushed sweet potato and arugula, while imported French skate is lightly steamed and served with a white miso emulsion and pomegranate reduction. From now until Oct 30, quote "rendezvous at Rive Gauche" when making your reservation and enjoy 20 percent off your a la carte food and drink bill.
