Make the most of the excellent CBD views from Migas Mercado's floor-to-ceiling windows with their two new dining deals. On Tuesday, for every RMB 600 you spend in their "tapas area" (aka the "mercado" part of their name), you'll get a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. Alternatively, send the week out with a bang on Sundays, when you'll get 50 percent off the bottle of wine of your choice when you order any 1kg steak.
New lunch deals at Side Street
Take the opportunity afforded by Side Street's new weekday lunch specials to try one of their Burger Cup-winning burgers. From Monday to Friday, get either a Jiandan Burger or a Hutong Hipster Burger (pictured above) with fries and a soft drink for RMB 59. You can also sample one of their rice curry bowls, also for RMB 59. Upgrade your soft drink to an Asahi for RMB 10.
Warm up on a chilly day with Jing-A's new sukiyaki-style hot pot special at their Longfusi Taproom. The hot pot features beef, mushrooms, tofu, cabbage, greens, and taro noodles in a bubbling Japanese-style broth. The hot pot is available daily from 5pm onwards, alongside a few other specials, including a slow-cooked curried lamb, a rich chicken parmigiana, and a pumpkin and lemongrass soup.
Dec 3: Wine dinner at Caliente with CWS
Join CWS for a casual wine dinner at newly-opened Spanish tapas restaurant Caliente in Caochang International Food Village (home to Bistro 108, Meza, and Chez Suzy, among others). Sample dishes like sizzling prawns with garlic and olive oil and traditional Galician octopus paired with Domaine Jean Collet AOC Chablis from Burgundy or chicken and pork paella with Finca La Emperatriz 'Terruno' from Rioja. Dinner is priced at RMB 450 per head (scan the QR code in the event listing to put your name down).
