Beijing is a happening city! Don't miss a thing with our weekend roundup of the latest news.

Code’s good on the Bund

Beijingers can now use their transit QR code to board the subway in Shanghai (and visa versa). The integration of the cities’ transit systems is part of an ongoing effort to ease the burden of regular travelers between the two, which has also been reflected in the recent adjustment of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed train prices. In other travel news, train tickets are now on sale for your solar New Year trip.
