There's nothing like hitting a few balls to ease the release valve, and of course, it helps when there are beers in the mix as well. To celebrate the new year, May's Club is offering five the Beijinger readers a whole year of membership at the bar, which earns you half off on beer! You'll be in the sweet spot hitting home runs in no time.

About Maysbar, Beijing's only baseball bar

Whether you grew up on the diamond field or are just curious about the sport of baseball, there's only one bar in town that lets you swing batter batter swing. 

The bar area is as fine as any sports bar to sit down for a chat about the latest big game with a couple of close buddies, but not every sports bar puts the action right in front of you. Right across from the fully stocked bar, the fenced-in area with the green floor is designed for one thing only – perfecting your swing.  

What's more, May's Club will be open during Chinese New Year (after Feb 13), making it a perfect opportunity to pass the time this holiday with this American passtime. 

Fun for the whole crew

Not everyone has to be into baseball to enjoy themselves at May's Club – although few will be able to resist stepping into the batting cage after watching the good times had inside. With a foosball table, dartboard, big screen TV, and occasional live entertainment, and more, it's a great place for a get-together or even a party that everyone will enjoy.

With 400 square meters of space, they are able to accept parties of up to 60 people – perfect for your next team building!

No party is complete, of course, without ample food and drink. Classic American baseball food, from hot dogs to burgers and fried chicken will keep bellies full while arms and conversations alike are loosened up with an international selection of beers and a creative cocktail menu.
