Thirsty? Wet your whistle with Booze News, our wrap-up of the week's best deals, parties, concoctions, industry gossip, and more.

Evil Twin Brewing at Zhujingban

Jiaodaokou's Zhujingban is gearing up for their latest guest beer, this time a huge showing from Denmark's Evil Twin Brewing. Known as a "gypsy brewery," Evil Twin was founded by Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø and is unique for having not operated an official brewery until the opening of their first brick and mortar brewery in Queens, New York City. Until that time, they collaborated with other brewers around the world to produce – very highly rated – limited-edition, out-there beers. Now, a whopping 39 of those beers are heading to Zhujingban for you to enjoy between May 1 and June 30. Click here for the full menu before saving up your mao and heading over and see what the fuss is about.

Jing-A heads to Daxiao Maizidian

Next up, a couple of tidbits from Jing-A. As is tradition, they'll be offering their Worker's Pale Ale at a tasty RMB 30 throughout May 1, AKA International Labor Day, across all locations. But just before that, starting Apr 30, they'll cart eight of their beers over to Maizidian's Daxiao Café, where they'll remain, lounging on their plush terrace, for the entirety of May. On launch day, get special discounts either by whispering the password "Daxiao Made, Jing-A Brewed" to receive a free glass of their Twin Hop Policy (until stocks last) or cough up RMB 99 and choose a combination of any three beers. Or, ya know, do both! Get the full details here.

As well as opening two new venues, Susu is making the most of the fine weather with the launch of its new beer garden connected to its Pho Susu Grand Summit location, open 11.30am-9pm daily. On tap, they now have Slow Boat's Monkey’s Fist IPA and Thunder Hands Wit, as well as the longstanding Helmsman’s Honey Ale. Drop by at Grand Summit, South Zone, Level 1, F105. Better yet, all Slow Boat beer across all Susu locations is RMB 10 off throughout the summer.

Discounted Slow Boat at Side Street

Sticking with Slow Boat deals, Side Street will offer their two options – Monkey's Fist and Stone Boat Pilsner – for RMB 35 a pour throughout the entire May Day holiday, May 1-5. As simple as that!

Two-for-one spritzes at Frasca

After the recent hotel-wide opening of all its terraces, The Opposite House's Frasca launches a spritz deal to really help you soak up the sunshine. Head over Monday to Thursday, 3-7pm, and enjoy buy one, get one free on a selection of six spritzes, regularly priced at RMB 88 each.

Aperitivo at Annie's every Saturday

Things too are heating up at Annie's The Place, where they're celebrating the fine Italian tradition of aperitivo (basically, endless happy hour that blends into dinner) every Saturday night, 6.30-9pm. For RMB 150, get free-flow wine and beer as well as snacks prepared by in-house Chef Marco. DJ Ennoe Alpha, meanwhile, will be spinning classics from the '70s through to the '00s. See the full details here.

All-you-can-drink at Mays

Finally, we finish on a high with Wangjing's Mays Baseball Bar's special happy hour, which runs throughout the holiday. For RMB 150, May 1-5, you'll get three hours of all-you-can-drink German and Belgian wheat beers, 10pm-1am, as well as 20 percent off all craft beer and buy two, get one free on cans of Hemper beer, the first "export-quality" hemp-infused beer to be made in China. Crack, crack, pass, my friends. Have a good one!
