Drinks galore at Hot & Spicy Fest

By far the biggest lineup of certified-spicy drinks anywhere this weekend will be on hand at our very own Hot & Spicy Festival, Saturday and Sunday, 11am-8pm, at Sanyuanqiao's Instreet Galleria Mall. There'll be showings from Glou, Ping Dynasty, Cheers, Jing-A, Brooklyn Brewery, La Musas, Side Street, Vedett, Jingye Erguotou, Home Plate, Forno, Superfly, Q Mex, and El Barrio, all ready to douse your scorched tastebuds with refreshing libations. If that wasn't enough, Wild Africa Cream will sponsor our annual Chili Eating Competition. The contestants may not leave unscathed but at least they'll leave soothed and probably slightly sloshed. If you haven't got your tickets yet, you can do so here.
Migas Mercado terrace opening weekend

Is it really summer in Beijing without a Migas terrace party? One of the longest-running summer markers in the city returns this Friday and Saturday with a newly renovated space with a healthy splash of color and the same superlative views over CBD. Friday kicks off at 9pm with electro sets from DJs Yauma and Oshi before Saturday shifts gear and gets funky courtesy of Leo Furioso, Cad 73, and Mamarracho. Both nights are free and include all the usual top-notch drinks you've come to expect from the Spanish eatery and bar. Find the full details here.
Terrazza Martini terrace opening party

Migas Mercado aren't the only ones to launch their terrace this weekend, so too will the Bell and Terrazza Martini, who occupy Migas' former Nali Patio space. Head over between 5-9pm for the aperitivo warm-up party, including some decent grub and free champagne, before the evening kicks off proper at 9pm. There'll also be live music, DJs, a catwalk, and "hot waiters." Learn more here.
