Tickets for Universal Studios Beijing go on sale at 12am (midnight) Tuesday, Sep 14 and will start at RMB 418, the theme park announced this afternoon.
The park has set one-day pass prices in four tiers: Low Season, Mid-Season, High Season and Special Season, with the following corresponding prices:
Low: RMB 418 (315 kids and seniors) Mid: RMB 528 (395 kids and seniors) High: RMB 638 (480 kids and seniors) Special: RMB 749 (560 kids and seniors
The pricing is slightly lower than the studio’s theme parks in Orlando and Hollywood, each of which start at USD 109 (RMB 704 at today’s exchange rates).

The park is currently undergoing a “soft opening” that’s by invite only. On Monday, September 20 it opens to the general public.
Pricing is at RMB 638 for all days in September before jumping to RMB 748 for the October holiday. It then settles down to RMB 528 weekdays / RMB 638 weekends for the rest of October and into November, before dropping to RMB 418 weekdays / RMB 528 weekends by Nov 22.
Kids aged 3 to 11 (inclusive) on the day of their ticket purchase, and seniors 65 and above on the day of their ticket purchase, are eligible for the discounted tickets. Kids under 3 on the day of their accompanier’s ticket purchase can get in free.
Likewise, bookings for the resort’s two hotels — The Universal Studios Grand Hotel and NUO Resort Hotel - will be available for booking from Sep 14 as well.
