Ice skating is officially open at as of Jan 11 and the as of Jan 10, according to Beijing Evening News.

Spanning Qianhai and Houhai, visitors and tourists can hit the ice with single and double “ice seats” – a vehicle of sorts that’s like a sled with poles for gliding along the ice – as well as ice bicycles, with an area of Houhai cordoned off for your more traditional ice skating.

To join the fun, all it takes is a ticket. At Shichahai, tickets start at RMB 60 on weekdays and RMB 80 on weekends and holidays for comprehensive tickets; RMB 30 on weekdays and RMB 40 on weekends and holidays for proper ice skating.
