Daily Delivery Tour: It's Cocktail Time
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: making cocktails is not my forte. But, luckily for me, despite the ongoing ban on in-house dining, there are still plenty of options for me to get my cocktail fix with multiple bars, restaurants and independent businesses offering up takeaway cocktails.
So, without further ado, let’s have a look at just what the capital has on offer...
First up, we have a range of cocktails
from Mona who is offering classics like Negroni (RMB 70) or a whole
range of flavored gin and tonics (RMB 65), as well as some more unique
concoctions. As a big tequila fan, my personal favorite is The Sea (RMB
65) which combines tequila with fresh grapefruit and lemon juice to
create a refreshingly tart cocktail that’s perfect in the hot weather.

For high quality classic cocktails, there
is possibly no better place than cocktail and dessert bar CDB
Apothecary. This is especially true for any martini fan out there, with
a wide variety of martinis available such as a Dirty Martini (RMB 168)
or a Consomme Martini (RMB 168), or even Martini sets of three different
kinds (RMB 738). Their bottled cocktails have been specifically
designed to be enjoyed at home with a number of factors being taken into
account.
To order, search for their mini program 酒术CDB (jiǔ shù CDB)
or add their official WeChat account (apocdb) to be added to their
WeChat group where they announce quantities and specials everyday around
3.30pm.
Q Mex is currently offering some
incredible half price deals on their cocktails. They are selling bottles
of Roc Craft Cocktails for RMB 25 (down from RMB 45), you can choose
from the Margarita, Mojito or Long Island Iced Tea. Along with this, they
are also offering their Classic Frozen Margarita for RMB 25 (down from
RMB 50). This slushy drink is a sure-fire way to beat that summer heat.
These
special discounts are available both for delivery on Meituan Waimai,
Eleme, JSS and Sherpas or you can pick up from one of the Q Mex
branches.
Nugget café is now also offering takeaway cocktails through their Weidian page. They have two
premixed bottled cocktails available: Soaked, a tequila silver-based
cocktail with lime juice, blue curacao, orange flower water and pink
salt, and Fine Valley Pass, which combines London dry gin, basil, lime
juice and cucumber bitters.
To order, simply scan the QR code in the poster below or you can go and pick one up in person.
For those looking for some classic cocktails with a twist, then look no further than Burge's. They have a number of their signature cocktails available such as the Plum Negroni (RMB 48) or the Wild Apple (RMB 48).
Burge's is available to order on Meituan Waimai and JSS, or alternatively you can pick them up in person.
If you want to have a more indulgent
night in, Bistro 108 is offering Aperol Spritz Kits as part of their
Apero Kit. Included in the kits are Aperol, two bottles of sparkling
wine, soda water and sliced oranges. Along with this is a variety of
apero items such as pâte, crudites, cheese and cold cuts are included.
The Apero Kit costs RMB 788, scan the QR code in the poster below to order.
Sips by Sal has a number of different cocktails available, many of which have a distinctly Chinese
twist. Take their Tang Hu Lu Sour, for example, which combines hawthorn-infused bourbon with hawthorn juice and lemon juice, or their Nai Cha
which sees black tea-infused vodka mixed with coconut milk and brown
sugar syrup, sure to be a winner with any milk tea fans.

Slider Nation has two DIY cocktail kits
available: a Gin and Tonic Kit (RMB 90) and a Bloody Mary Kit (RMB
99). Along with this, they also have a frozen Jack and Coke (RMB 55)
available too, which, given the current high temperatures, sounds like a
pretty good shout to me.
Slider Nation is available to order on: Meituan Waimai, JSS, Sherpas and Eleme.
For those hankering after some classic
Mexican cocktails, Pebbles Courtyard has you covered. They are offering Mezcal and Ginger DIY Kits (RMB 108) and also now have their full menu
of agave-based cocktails available to order. My personal recommendation
is their La Paloma (RMB 65). But, as if that wasn’t enough, they also
have a BOGOF deal on certain premixed cocktails every day.

If one cocktail isn't enough for you, then
Night Nine has the perfect solution with their 1000ml bottles of
premixed cocktails. They have eight different cocktails on their menu,
which are priced RMB 130 for 1000ml for pick up or RMB 150 for 1000ml

On offer from The Local are some more
fancy cocktails with their Prosecco Mixing Kits (RMB 330), which

of press, the Prosecco Mixing Kit can only be ordered through WeChat.
