Where to Get the Best Zongzi in Beijing
If you’re like me, these past few weeks of working from home have felt like all your days sort of blend together. It’s hard telling weekdays apart from the weekends and it’s getting even harder to remember special occasions. (My husband and I only remembered our five-year anniversary when the Facebook reminder popped up. But to be fair, we’ve also forgotten it every year since we got married, so we can’t really blame this one on Covid…)
But there’s a holiday coming up! The Dragon Boat Festival that traditionally takes place in early June is when the dragon boat races take place and we get to eat all sorts of delicious zongzi.
In previous years, we’d see all sorts of hotels and restaurants selling them in the lobbies, but since we’re all stuck in our compounds this year, it’s starting to feel like this holiday is getting passed over without the attention it deserves. But it doesn’t have to be that way with these fabulous zongzi offers from hotels in Beijing.
