Joe’s Pizza Set to Open in Zhongjun World City
The long wait is nearly over – New York institution Joe’s Pizza is soon set to open its doors in Zhongjun World City, bringing by the slice pizza and more to the masses of the capital.

China partner Adrian Wall tells the Beijinger that the shop is still currently undergoing inspections and a few other tweaks, but that Joe’s will tentatively be kicking off its soft opening next week.
A slice that's bigger than the plate it comes on!
We paid the shop a visit yesterday and tried a few slices (well, maybe three slices) and while the team is still making some final adjustments, it’s already really good. But it’s not just big 16 inch pies sold whole or by the slice that’ll be on offer, but a whole lot more.
The menu is set to include things like wings and other snacks, plus an extensive selection of our personal favorite pizza style – the Sicilian pie. This will go beyond the typical pepperoni offering they have down in Shanghai to include things like the upside down and even a lazijiding Sicilian pizza.
