The Palace Museum Introduces New Rules

The Palace Museum -- aka Forbidden City -- has recently introduced new rules for visitors, which include a ban on commercial photography and certain items such as suitcases and trolly carts, according to a report from China Blue News. The aim of these new rules is to preserve the cultural heritage and diverse values of the Palace Museum, preventing security risks and ensuring the safety of the ancient buildings, cultural relics, and visitors. Furthermore, the Forbidden Items Catalogue of the Palace Museum stipulates that from June 30, wheeled tools with transportation and loading functions, large photographic equipment, and other equipment will be prohibited. These measures will help maintain the site's cultural heritage and visitors' safety while exploring the Palace Museum.
