WATCH: There’s a New "Time-Traveling" Train on Subway Line 1

The Beijing Subway unveiled a special train running along Line 1 this week, and it’s already started to draw crowds hoping for a trip down memory lane – or at least an idea of the history of Beijing’s subway system.

Dubbed the “time-traveling” train, it’s a special redesigned six-car subway train. Each car within the train is designed to replicate subway trains from the '60s to the '90s, and feature things like plush green rearranged seats to retro ceiling fans and more.

If you’d like to catch a ride, the train is currently running round trip between Gucheng Station and Fuxingmen Station on Line 1, from 2-3pm on working days.
