Baoyuan Dumplings
Known for
their colorful dumplings, Baoyuan Dumplings has been a staple in Beijing
for around 20 years and has even repeatedly won Bib Gourmand status in
the Beijing Michelin Guide. The big draw here is their famous colorful
dumplings which are dyed with natural ingredients like carrot juice for
the orange or spinach for the green. You can change any of their
dumplings to colorful ones by simply requesting them and paying RMB 1
extra.
Dumpling fillings range from traditional options like
Pork and Celery (RMB 21), Lamb and Onion (RMB 33), and Pork and Cabbage
(RMB 21) to more unusual fillings like Kung Pao Chicken (RMB 20) and
Cheese, Mushroom, Tomato and Pineapple. Aside from dumplings, they also
do a variety of Sichuan dishes like Twice Cooked Pork (RMB 38) and Dry
