杜梦堂(巴黎)荣幸在新空间DUMONTEIL Contemporary呈现苔丝·杜蒙(Tess DUMON)全新个展“无形的线索”。此次展览是艺术家在画廊的第三次个展，通过金属网丝雕塑、布面及纸上水粉等多种媒介的最新创作探索人与自然、事物的产生和发展之间的隐性关联。

DUMONTEIL Paris is pleased to present “Les liens invisibles (Invisible Links)”, the solo exhibition of Tess DUMON at DUMONTEIL Contemporary, the gallery's new Paris location at Rue d'Aboukir. Marking the artist's third solo exhibition with the gallery, this exhibition explores the implicit links between humans and nature, occurrences and developments, including metal sculpture, gouache paintings and drawings, etc.

通过对火、水、土、空气这四个基本元素的诗意描绘，艺术家为我们提供了这些 "无形的线索 "，帮助我们去感受和思考人类与自然保持的关系，他们的起源，他们的依赖性，他们的联系，亦如画作中被星空、花田、池水和麦田环绕的主人公。

Through the poetic depiction of the four elements — Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Tess gives us leads to exploring these "invisible links". She encourages us to reconsider the relationship that humans maintain with Nature, their origin, their dependence, their connections, just like the protagonist in her works, immersed by the starry sky, the flower fields, the waterlily pond, and the wheat field.

在这次展览中，艺术家用不同媒介和技术的创作形成了一种有机的融合。通过这种方式，艺术家将这些“无形线索”交织在我们的观感之中。同时，她通过这些关于孕育生命的寓言向我们提出了关于自然与生命本源的重要问题。

In this exhibition, the artist multiplies the mediums and techniques in a kind of organic fusion. In this way, the artist deepens these links which coexist all around us. It is therefore through these allegories of fertility, and the appearance of life that the artist questions us about the vital rooting to Nature.

苔丝·杜蒙 (Tess Dumon，生于1990年) 的作品涵盖了不同的媒介，包括绘画，雕塑，动画和装置等。她善于通过神话式的隐喻和个人的梦想世界，将她生活周遭的悲喜剧故事转化为在作品中深埋的线索，通过制作气场强大的场域，试图将观众置于作品的核心，令其忘却世俗世界。

Tess Dumon(b.1990)’s work evolves on different mediums that include drawing, sculpture, animation, and installations. She aims to transform the tragic and dramatic history of the life around her into the hints concealing in her works through mythical metaphors and a personal dream world. Tess Dumon tries to place the audience in the heart of her work to experience the atmosphere which can be so powerful that people forget the mundane world.

苔丝·杜蒙早年在巴黎赛夫尔工作室进修后移居伦敦，在中央圣马丁学院学习雕塑，随后在皇家艺术学院获得艺术硕士学位，并在毕业秀中获奖。2014年获得了Born Award一等奖。继在巴黎和上海相继成功举办个展后，她的作品还曾展出于PAD艺术与设计博览会、上海西岸艺术与设计博览会、英国皇家赛马会(Royal Ascot)和浪琴表马术大师赛(Longines Masters)，佳士得Paris Tout P’tits慈善拍卖，莱佛士皇家巴黎梦索酒店等。

After training at the atelier of Sèvres in Paris, Tess Dumon moved to London for pursuing sculpture studies in Central Saint Martins and finished her MA in Royal College of Art where she won the prize of Degree Show in 2016. In 2014 won the first prize of Born Award. Following successful solo shows in Paris and Shanghai, Dumon’s work has been featured in main events such as PAD Art Fairs, Shanghai West Bund Art & Design Fair, Royal Ascot, Longines Masters, Christie’s Paris Tout P'tits Charity Sale, and a special exhibition at Le Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris, etc.
