杜梦堂欣然回归「2023影像上海艺术博览会」，呈现三位法国艺术家以摄影为媒介、游离于真实与想象边界的系列作品，包括代理艺术家雨果·德维切尔(Hugo DEVERCHÈRE)、埃里克·裴欧(Eric PILLOT)，以及特别邀请艺术家文森·富尼耶(Vincent FOURNIER)的作品，于2023年4月20日至23日在上海展览中心亮相。
DUMONTEIL is pleased to return to this year's PhotoFairs Shanghai, presenting a series of works in which photography is used as a medium that strays from the border between the real and the imaginary by three French artists, including represented artists Hugo DEVERCHÈRE, Eric PILLOT, and a special collaboration with Vincent FOURNIER, at Shanghai Exhibition Center from April 20 to April 23, 2023.

此次展位精选了雨果·德维切尔近年的研究项目《远方》(The Far Side) ，《七城之岛》(La Isla de las Siete Ciudade)，以及《万象-记录》(Cosmorama - Recording) 的相关作品。多维度展现艺术家如何通过对行星天体、地质景观和动植物标本等图像的别样展现将我们周遭的环境与对过去、现在，以及未来的投射紧密相连。同时，雨果·德维切尔的个展“远方”即将在杜梦堂DUMONTEIL上海空间开幕。
This exhibition features a selection of works from Hugo DEVERCHÈRE's recent research projects, "The Far Side", "La Isla de las Siete Ciudades", and "Cosmorama - Recordings". Through the artist's representation of planetary bodies, geological landscapes, flora and fauna, and other specimens, he connects our surroundings with the projection of the past, the present, and the future. Meanwhile, Hugo DEVERCHÈRE's solo exhibition "The Far Side" will open at DUMONTEIL Shanghai.

Vincent FOURNIER is well recognized for his "Space Project" and "Brasília" series. Both projects show how the human vision of the future was frozen in time during the golden age of space exploration through landscape and architecture. Vincent FOURNIER's solo exhibition "Uchronie" at Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in Paris opens on April 11 and continues through September 27, 2023.

埃里克·裴欧通过《隔墙》系列用自己融合了建筑、图像和诗学，同时游离于绘画边缘的摄影手法，以“隔墙”唤起观众的想象力，进一步探索人与风景和空间的关联。受纯粹摄影(Straight Photography)的影响，裴欧的摄影均采用正面拍摄，有着清晰、无“漏光”、无变形的特点，与1917年摄影师保罗·斯特兰德 (Paul Strand) 发表的 “摄影”宣言相呼应：照片的影像要真实清晰，影调要丰富而层次分明，而这些效果是在“没有任何过程或操纵技巧的情况下，使用纯粹摄影的方式实现的”。
With the series "Parois", Eric PILLOT uses his photographic approach that combines architecture, image, and poetics to evoke the viewer’s imagination and to further explore the connection between people, landscape, and space while straying from the edge of the painting. Fruit of Straight Photography, Pillot's works uses the principle of a frontal, sharp, leak-free, transformation-free shot, which concurs with Paul Strand’s manifesto article "Photography and the New God"(1917): “the most perfect realization of [this absolute objectivity that is the hallmark of photography] is accomplished without tricks of process or manipulation through the use of straight photographic methods.”
