Vertical Rainforest City

垂直雨林城市位于森林城市的核心区,靠近马来西亚与新加坡边界的河流出海口。

垂直雨林城市将成为生态城市及智慧城市,提供给世界居民享受热带气候优质生活环境。

垂直雨林城市创想于保护热带雨林的初衷。

现今面临工业化而被砍伐的热带雨林, 可被保护并移植到全新的垂直雨林城市。

绿色发展策略

1.保护并移植工业化而被砍伐的热带雨林至森林城市

2.整合大众出行公共交通便利绿色交通

3. 地块CD绿色住宅优先发展

4. 绿色发展地块AB完善城市生活

总体布局将优化海岸建筑特色, 最大化观赏海景,提高土地使用效能,并创造一个生动的城市绿色天际线,表现出未来化服务型生态海岸森林城市的核心典范。

向热带雨林生态系统学习,随着高度升高, 而产生低区/中区/高区生态系。

垂直雨林城市中包含4个彼此串联的观海空中平台,分别在30m高度(AB地块)及48m高度(CD地块),空间形成低区(商业/交通) 中区(商业/娱乐/游憩)高区(居住/观景)的动静分明的混合使用关系。

观海空中平台为结构及设备转换层,让建筑创造出相互交错堆栈的动感空间,并形成低区空间良好的遮阳蔽阴空间,保护土壤免受雨水的冲刷。

中区高区的每一层都能欣赏各的方向的海湾/沙滩/森林的美景。

VERTICAL RAINFOREST CITY

VerticalRainforest City is located in the heart of Forest City, which is at the mouthof the river near the border of Malaysia and Singapore. It will be anecological and smart city for people to enjoy and fantastic environment andtropical weather.

Vertical ForestCity is inspired from the idea of “saving rainforest" to re-locate therainforest from the land of industry-developing forest. Masterplan enrichescoastal building features, maximum ocean view, elevating land-use efficiency,and create a dynamic green skyline to present a hub of modern service centerand ecological seashore forest city. 

Learning from rainforest eco-system, which includes low level/mid-level/ high-level eco-system in different heights.  In Vertical Rainforest City, there are 4Green Platform Amenities, which are set in 30m Height (Block AB) and 48m Height(Block CD) and form low-rise zone(Commerce/ Transportation), Mid-risezone(commerce/ entertainment/ recreation), and high-rise zone(residence/sight-seeing).  Green Platforms containsstructural and mechanical transformation level, which provide shading forlow-rise zone and protect reclaimed soil from rainstorm. In mid and high risezone, each unit offers panoramic view of the marina, beach and forest.

Green Development Strategy

1. Saving and relocating the industrized rainforest to Forest City.

2. Integration of green public transportation hub.

3. Development of green residence on block C&D.

4. Development of block A&B to enrich urban life.
