Shanghai's Culinary MVPs Collaborate for FEAST Festival
The folks behind Shanghai Supperclub, now spearheading F&B events agency Social Supply, are celebrating food (for the sake of celebrating food, that is) by bringing together a collection of some of the most popular in the local food and bev biz for FEAST food festival.
The All-Star line-up includes:
Austin Hu (Madison, The Union Trading Company)
Jason Oakley (Coquille, Scarpetta)
Jiayi + Wenyi Huang (Little Catch)
Jenny Gao (formerly Baoism - new concept to be launched at FEAST)
Julio Gomez (Tomatito)
Kelley Lee (Liquid Laundry, Tepito)
Pol Garcia (El Patio)
Maya Sittisuntorn + Mauro Pompili (Chikalicious)
Scott + Kim Melvin (Commune Social)
Event organiser Camden Hauge tells us the format is inspired by London's legendary 'night market' food festival, Street Feast, with chef tents and vendors that guests can peruse and purchase from directly.
Wash it all down with craft beer from Boxing Cat Brewery and other local watering holes on an open roof terrace at The Place with live music from locals DJs.
May 21-22, 12-8pm. Pre-sale tickets at RMB50 per day, RMB90 for the weekend, or RMB80 per day at the door.
