Aug 26: DADA 7-Year Anniversary
Things change so fast in Shanghai but the Xingguo Lu staple has been a reliable supplier of cheap drinks, quality tunes and late night shenanigans. They celebrate their birthday within their newly renovated confines with tons of free drinks, new t-shirts and the always funky sounds of Same As It Ever Was’ Santo Chino.

Aug 26: Hyperdub x SVBKVLT
Iconic London label goes head-to-head with homegrown label SVBKVLT in a night that promises to be full of dark, heavy beats. Hyperdub boss Kode 9 is joined by labelmate Scratch DVA (pictured above) while Swimful and Faded Ghost represent Shanghai. Joining in the fun is special guest Hudafunk who is making the trip from London. Try to get there at 8pm as The Shelter is hosting one of their famed lock-in parties, shutting the doors (and the lights) at 9pm for an hour to appreciate Scratch DVA's new album NOTU_URoNLINEU in full and in darkness. Club opens the doors at 10pm for the full party.

Aug 26: Drunken Kong
The Japanese duo headline the latest in the 4x4x4x4 party that celebrtes 4/4 dance music. With releases on distinguished labels like Tronic, Beat Therapy Records and Plus, they hold down residencies at several of Tokyo’s major clubs, while successfully touring Europe last year attracting new fans with their distinctly groovy sound. Yoshinaga, Max Shen and Deep 19 support.

Aug 27: Bambonou
The monthly techno party hosted by Co:Motion’s MIIA, Room 303, welcomes its biggest booking yet in the house and techno wunderkind that’s currently enchanting the French underground. Emerging from the Clek Clek Boom collective that produced French Fries, Bambanou is now signed to Modselektor’s 50 weapons label where he’s been crushing it with ‘percussive, abstract yet organic techno.’

Aug 27: Bryan Kasenic
The founder and curator of The Bunker New York has been a galvanizing force in American techno for the past dozen years. A staple in New York’s nightclubs, he’s the headlining guest for the latest Space Debris Committee party.
