Netizens Nickname Justin Trudeau 'Little Potato'
By Bridget O'Donnell
Ladies and gents, we've got a Canadian heartthrob named Justin in town. (No, not that one). We're of course referring to Justin Trudeau, everyone's favorite panda-loving Prime Minister of the Great White North, who just landed in China for the G20.
Chinese netizens could not be more exicted for his arrival, and have even gone as far as nicknaming him 'Little Potato' (小土豆) on account of his surname sounding a lot like the Chinese word for potato (tudou).
Meanwhile, his father, legendary Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, has been nicknamed 'Old Potato' (老土豆, or laotudou) because of course.
Hope you're enjoying that G20 Blue while it lasts, Little Potato!
