Little Catch, a fishmonger who stole the appetites of seafood lovers with their enormously popular poke bowls, has made good on their promise of a new location, and it's supremely gratifying.
Situated on the second floor of a newly opened complex next to Naked Hub and opposite Zhang Plaza, Little Catch 2.0 is waaaaay larger than the original location, with seating for around 50 inside and breezy interiors designed by Max Trullas and MTMDesign.
Not only can you actually sit down to eat the poke, now you can also make like Burger King and HAVE IT YOUR WAY. I'm talking about 100 percent custom-designed pimped out poke bowls, in addition to the signature menu.
The customizable menu offers such mods as grains, salad and/or rice bases (including options to do half and half), salmon, shrimp, scallop, and/or octopus, a whole host of sauces (ponzu and sambal are our favorites), and add-ons like green beans, cashews, tobiko roe, shiitake mushrooms and more. They've even expanded the menu of deli sandwiches and bagels.
Poke aside, Larger Catch also has a fancy new ~raw bar~ that offers sharing plates designed to be eaten alongside poke bowls. We went for the half dozen of house oysters and white wine combo (RMB168), but were totally eyeing up the LC seafood platter (RMB188), which includes salmon, scallop, shrimp, octopus, salmon roe, bread and seaweed butter.
You'll also be sharing the space with a steady stream of Sherpa shifus, since Little Catch is now (finally) available for delivery. Enjoy!
