PHOTOS: Inside China's Terrifying Trump Mask Factory
By Bailey Hu
A latex factory in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, is in the news this week for mass-scale production of Trump (read: Drumpf) and Hillary Clinton masks.
Already, orders for the masks total around 500,000 and, while demand for both US presidential election frontrunners is about the same, factory boss Cheng Long predicts that Drumpf will eventually take the lead.
“These masks will be appearing on American streets before long,” Chen was quoted as saying. He commented on how well the Democratic and Republican candidates' likenesses have been selling, while noting that sales of Obama masks are in decline.
The products themselves are impressively detailed, down to Drumpf's trademark poofy 'do. Still, that doesn't stop the lifeless faces, both finished and unfinished, from being pretty damn creepy.
This is the stuff of nightmares.
The boss of the factory poses while wearing a Drumpf mask.
And, to be fair, he does the same with Hillary.
