Strawberry Festival 2017 Line-Up Announced

Modern Sky have announced the first wave of headliners for Strawberry Festival 2017, which goes down as usual over the three-day May holiday at Expo Park. 

British pop star Charlie XCX is one of the bigger names on the bill and will perform on May 1, the final day of the festival. Two notable post-rock bands, the UK's The Vaccines and American instrumental troupe Caspian are slated for April 29, while Japanese glam metal band Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas will play on the 30th.

The line-up spans the gamut of genres, and because Modern Sky's electronic-focused MYTH Festival is on hiatus this year, several major DJs will be headlining at Strawberry, including American big room house producer KSHMR, who performed at MYTH last year, and Brazilian DJ duo Tropkillaz.    

A solid swath of Chinese  bands and Strawberry Festival veterans round out the line-up, including quirky pop punk group New Pants (新裤子), top-notch electronic rock act Re-TROs (重塑雕像的权利) and two old-school stalwarts of Beijing rock, Miserable Faith (痛仰) and Xie Tian Xiao (谢天笑).
