Every Single Person in Shanghai Was at Found 158 on Saturday

Just as the city was stamping out much-loved bar street Yongkang Lu, we were busy going about saying how Found 158 was the totally new Yongkang Lu or something. But in the shaky initial weeks after opening (when the place looked like a building site), we had doubts that it would ever live up to the hype.

Based on what went down on last Saturday April 15, it seems those concerns were a touch preemptive：

Looks like an amazingly good time, depending on how much value you put upon personal space. 

The grand opening of the new Café des Stagiaires reportedly contributed to the initial mass of people (they put the estimate at 2,000 people over the afternoon and evening), along with extra nice weather that we experienced over the weekend. Hooked laoban Todd Pearson also enjoyed booming business over the busy evening ("It was off the hook!")

The question is, will Found 158 be like this every weekend this summer? With the remainder of new bars and restaurants nearly all open we're going to say yes...
