In under 40 years, China is said to have lifted over 800 million people out of extreme poverty.
It's an impressive feat, but how do China's declining poverty levels compare to the rest of the world's?
Using data from the World Bank that measures how many people are living on less than USD1.90 a day, one insane graphic shows just how much China's poverty rate has declined in 20 years, from 1993 to 2013.

According to the latest World Bank figures, China reduced the number of people living in poverty from 756 million people in 1990 to 25 million in 2013.
