That's Shanghai takes a look at the best live shows on this week:
Jun 27: The Devils & Libido

We've heard nothing but good things about this oddly-named Japanese punk band. Not their first tour around China, The Devils & Libido have garnered a stellar reputation for putting on an excellent live show. They released a two-sided album in May of this year and combine elements of punk with math, hardcore and neon (yes, apparently that this a genre of music).
Jun 27, 8.30pm; RMB80 presale. Yuyintang, 851 Kaixuan Lu, by Yan'an Xi Lu 凯旋路851号, 近延安西路.

Lo-fidelity post punkers The KVB bring their melancholic, romantic sounds to Yuyintang Park this weekend. They’ve been unusually active since their very first release all the way back in 2011, with their latest album, Only Now Forever, released in October of last year. Catch them for synthesized vibes a-plenty this Friday night.

Flyer courtesy of promoters
Shake's six-piece band throws a party dedicated to one of the greatest hip hop duos of all time. OutKast rode in on a technicolor Cadillac from the future and changed music forever, with a vision unlike any rappers before or after. Big Boi and André 3000 mixed the spirit of funk with hip hop, techno, jazz, dub, and ATLien style, put southern rap on the map, and took hip hop to outer space and the top of the pop charts.
Jun 28 & 29, 10.30pm; RMB100. Shake, 3/F, 46 Maoming Nan Lu, by Jinxian Lu 茂名南路46号3楼, 近进贤路. Scan the QR code in the flyer for more details.

Mayka Denki brings his fun musical show to Shanghai this month, as he makes use of robots and various contraptions to entertain audiences of all ages. This peculiar approach to stage performance and music will have you on the edge of your seat, aghast, bewildered and in fits of laughter. Don’t miss out.

LOFAS’ commendable effort to make Sundays less boring continues this weekend as they invite three fantastic bands for an evening of psychedelic, trashy and (most likely) super zany antics. With Dahlia Rosea and Domino Trigger joined on the evening by Mii, featuring notorious rockers Dee and Aming, this should be an evening to remember.
