American Bro 'Survives' Shanghai on RMB130, Goes Viral

Can one live off USD20 a day in Shanghai? Vlogger bro Kevin Cook attempts to answer this question in a video that has recently gone viral on QQ.

While USD20 (RMB130) may seem a little steep for some of you, it's apparently real challenge for some. One YouTube commenter poked fun at the spending limit, writing, "OMG, white people are so rich."

Although Shanghai is definitely one of the more expensive cities in China, we challenge him to travel to Chengdu or Xi'an, where he could eat like a king.

Cook has been living in China since 2014 and says he plans on traveling around the world on USD20 a day. We can't wait to see where the challenge will take him next.
