Red Light Radio is a platform homebased in the Red Light District of Amsterdam, which in a broad sense is holding Red Light Radio, Red Light Records, Vintage Voudou, several recording studios and numerous other club, arts and culture related endeavors together, has been the occupant of this building for over nine years.

Red Light Radio（RLR）已创立九年,大本营在荷兰；就广义而言，这是一个致力于整合Red Light电台（Red Light Radio）、Red Light录音室（Red Light Records）、Vintage Voudou，以及多家录音工作室和数个俱乐部、艺术、文化相关产业资源的平台。

Broadcasting and playing sounds from the obscurest afro to the coldest wave, the blackest metal or the newest electronics and everything in between, selling records and generally putting out quality stuff since 2010, RLR has become an internationally acclaimed platform and a mirror for Amsterdam's music diversity.

自2010年，Red Light Radio不断玩转播放各类音乐流派，从最迷幻的黑人音乐、极简的浪潮音乐，到至暗的黑色金属音乐、最新的电音潮流，出售相关录音制品，制作高水准音乐内容，进而成为国际知名的音乐平台，体现了阿姆斯特丹多元的音乐内涵。

Red Light Radio broadcasts over 40 shows a week with daily shows featuring local DJs, live performances and cool personalities doing a one-time only radio show. Guests over the years include anyone from Seth Troxler to NOFX, also some big industry names such as Nina Kraviz, Rodhad, Marcel Dettman, Objekt And DJ Stingray’s B2B and many more cool names, also regional acts such Zig Zach, MIIA, Object Blue and list is long... Since 2011, RLR began traveling around the globe, to Colombia, Chile, India, USA, Dekmantel Brazil, Dekmantel Amsterdam, Lithuania, BEAMFEST Thailand, Sweden, Germany, Russia and many more cool places.

Red Light Radio每周播出40多场表演，其中包括本土音乐DJ每日演出、现场表演以及个性音乐人仅此一家的电台节目。多年来，RLR邀请的嘉宾不仅包含DJ天才Seth Troxler和老牌摇滚乐队NOFX等知名音乐人，也包括Nina Kraviz、Rodhad、Marcel Dettman、Objekt和DJ Stingray等业内顶级DJ的B2B表演，以及更多非同凡响的艺人，亦不乏Zig Zach、MIIA、Object Blue等地区代表性人物；当然，嘉宾名单仍在不断加码。2011年起，RLR推出全球巡演活动，先后落地哥伦比亚、智利、印度、美国、巴西Dekmantel音乐节、阿姆斯特丹Dekmantel音乐节、立陶宛、泰国BEAMFEST音乐节、瑞典、德国、俄罗斯等等令人心驰神往的地方。

谁是RLR的幕后推手：

A product of Hugo and Orpheu the Wizard's imagination and a natural evolution of their background as compulsive record diggers, RLR has managed to write a rich history for itself over the course of seven years.

Hugo和Orpheu the Wizard凭借自己的想象力和挖掘唱片的资深功力，谱写了RLR七年来辉煌的发展历史。

RLR is a community platform whose success is dependent on all our great DJs & supportive listeners. Hugo & Orpheu are the founders of the station and still take care of the platform in the broadest way. From programming shows, to promoting parties & festivals, running the shop & buildings, organizing trips & collaborations, to cleaning the studio, which should happen a little more often here.

RLR是一个社区型平台，其成功植根于其所有优秀DJ的辛勤努力和听众的无私支持。Hugo和Orpheu是电台的创始人并事无巨细地投身于扩大平台管理工作。演出企划、派对节日推广、店铺和建筑运维、差旅与合作组织，乃至工作室清洁等，无不亲力亲为。

RLR stands for exploring music, at the radio, but also on events. It stands for bringing people together. For supporting talents and letting the world hear their passion. We're open to anyone we think are great, coming from any background, any age, any gender, any whatever. It's all about the music, and they try to keep it diverse, cause there's so much good stuff out there.

RLR不断探索电台和活动音乐， 尝试聚合所有听众， 为音乐人才提供支持，让世界聆听他们的声音。我们不看重出身背景，不在乎年龄性别，只追求拥有才情的有识之士。我们只注重音乐，并尽量实现多元化发展，探寻世界的美好。 

What’s the motivation in RLR:

RLR的发展动力：

Yes, the radio is the backbone of what RLR does. They feel it's relevant to have a central space, where everyone comes to share music and be part of something positive. It has been important for Amsterdam and it helped the strong scene that we have right now in our city.

电台是RLR发展的支柱。他们认为应当设立一个中心空间，便于每个人分享音乐，从事具有积极意义的工作。此举帮助加强了我们对于这座城市的归属感，对阿姆斯特丹而言非常重要。

They think there's also a fertile global music scene, which RLR are part of, so being what they are right now, they are of course still motivated, cause it's so much fun. And there are more people out there who can join us, reach out to or collaborate with.

他们也认为，RLR目前立足的全球音乐市场前景宽广，奋斗之路妙趣横生，因此备受鼓舞。此外，我们也能够招募、接触世界各地的各式人才，并与之合作。

Financially it's not that easy, but somehow, they can keep the radio independent by doing some side projects with events, festivals, brands, merchandise and all that. Money is not their favorite part of the operation, but it's amazing they're keeping it up for over 9 years now.

尽管电台运营成本高昂，他们仍然努力组织并生产各类活动、节日、品牌、商品等副产品，以维持电台的独立性。盈利不是他们的工作重心，因此，他们能坚持九年之久，实乃奇迹。

RLR DJs are certainly not all from the same 'circle'. Hugo: “I hear this often, that it has a certain style, but I think it's more about the energy. A regular day broadcasting goes from ambient to black metal and from funk to techno. But it's great，it feels like it all connects.”

RLR的DJ必然来自不同的“圈子”。Hugo：“我常常听说，需要具备固定的风格；然而，我认为精力更重要。每天定期播送氛围音乐、黑色金属音乐乃至funk、techno等等， 繁忙但乐在其中，仿佛彼此相融。”

DJs have to be nice and play the music RLR like, because they are still listening to everything and going completely mad if they hear stuff they don't like. Which luckily happens very little.

RLR会试听所有音乐，从而确保DJ品行良好的同时，创作主旨不会违背RLR的精神，否则将采取措施进行规避。幸而，大部分作品质量上乘。 

DJs at RLR are chosen on there personal taste. They always keep in mind to stay diverse and like to surprise our listeners with new shows in different styles. Of course, the station brought people together; RLR created a circle this way. Also, RLR buildings with recording studios of Young Marco, Vic Crezée, Interstellar Funk, Gilb'R, Jonny Nash & Suzanne Kraft, the two record stores, make the place one to connect.

RLR选拔的DJ各具特色。他们始终坚持保留多元特色，在新的秀场中，呈现不同的音乐风格，为听众带来惊喜。当然，电台也通过吸引人们的视线，创建产业循环。另外，RLR建筑内设立了Young Marco、Vic Crezée、Interstellar Funk、Gilb'R、Jonny Nash和Suzanne Kraft等录音工作室，以及两个唱片商店，实现产业链整合。
