黄灿然：伟大的鼓励

像那丛圣诞花。

叫它圣诞花是不对的，因为它不是花。叫它圣诞红，或一品红，回避叫它花，也是不对的，因为它比花还像花。它的茎是绿的，但有一抹儿紫，一种提示；整株植物下半身也是绿的，但叶梗是渐渐上升的紫，先是淡紫，然后是暗紫，到了上半身才开始浓烈起来──同样是一种提示。

提示上半身茎、梗、叶的火红。叶即花，花即叶。远看是花，近看是叶。远看是惊艳，近看是惊异。如同一种信仰，一种没有上帝但也会感动上帝的信仰。如同基督，既是人也是上帝，因为他是上帝的化身，上帝的儿子。如同薇依，不入教但至死忠于基督，既不是圣徒又是圣徒。

我们身上也有这样的提示。我们也可以这样渐渐上升！
